Vaava Plus is a one‑time purchase (€14.99) that unlocks voice dictation, easy growth‑measurement scanning from photos, local Wi‑Fi data synchronization between family devices (Vaava Plus is required on the phone that shows the pairing QR code), and the full calming-sounds library.
Does Vaava use cloud storage?
On your device. Vaava does not have user accounts and does not store your baby data on our servers. When two family devices are paired, they sync directly over your local Wi‑Fi.
Do I need an account to use Vaava?
No. Vaava works without a user account, email, or sign-in. Vaava Plus purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play.
How does local Wi‑Fi sync work?
Family devices are paired with a QR code and sync directly over your local Wi‑Fi. Vaava does not use cloud storage for your baby timeline data.
What does the backend do?
Only voice dictation and growth measurement scanning send a small payload to our backend, which forwards it to an AI parsing service and returns a structured event. The audio or image is processed transiently and not stored.
Is Vaava Plus a subscription?
No. It's a one‑time €14.99 purchase on the App Store or Google Play. There is no auto‑renewal and no trial.
Does Plus transfer to my other phone?
Yes, on the same platform (iPhone↔iPhone or Android↔Android) with the same store account used for the purchase. Use the Restore Purchases option. Cross-platform restore (iOS↔Android) is not yet available.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their store policies.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Export all logged events to CSV at any time from the app settings.
