Baby tracker without an account
No email, no sign-up, no server in the middle.
Vaava opens straight into logging. There is no email to confirm, no password to choose, and no Vaava account to create, so the first feed is a couple of taps from the home screen. Partner syncing, the baby monitor, and CSV export are free. Skipping the cloud features entirely is a normal way to use the app rather than a stripped-down one.
What “no account” means in Vaava
Vaava has no user accounts. You do not create a profile, confirm an email address, or sign in, and a new phone never asks you to log into anything.
Your timeline is stored in the app on your device, not behind a login. Nothing asks for an email address to reach it, and there is no password to reset.
There is also no account recovery, because there is no account to recover. On a new phone your history comes from a file you exported, from pairing with a phone that still has it, or from optional Plus Family Data Sharing.
What you can do with no account
The free tier is the whole tracker: feeding, sleep, diapers, and your own custom event types, plus the calendar, trends, milestones, developmental tracking, Photo Book, CSV export, the local baby monitor, and a calming-sounds player with one free preset.
Partner syncing is free too, and it does not pass through a Vaava server. If you want the timeline shared or backed up over the internet instead, Vaava Plus adds end-to-end encrypted Family Data Sharing, which also asks for no account on either phone.
Vaava Plus is a store purchase rather than an online plan: a one-time €14.99 in-app purchase handled by Apple or Google. Paying for it does not create an account either.
Where to go next
The account question usually leads to one of two others: getting a second phone onto the same timeline, or paying once instead of subscribing. How to share baby data over local Wi-Fi covers the free pairing step by step, and the no-subscription guide covers what stays free and what the one-time Plus purchase adds.
There is also the offline guide if you plan to keep everything on your own devices, the monitor guide if you have a spare phone to put in the nursery, and sharing and backup without a login for the one cloud feature that never asks for credentials.
FAQ
Is there a baby tracker that works without an account?
Yes. Vaava has no user accounts at all: no email, no password, no sign-up. You install the app and start logging, and the free tier covers feeding, sleep, diapers, the calendar, trends, milestones, and CSV export without a login.
Do I need to give an email address to start logging?
No. Vaava never asks for an email address, and there is no sign-up step before the first log entry. The first screen works immediately, offline, with no account created in the background.
What if I lose my phone with no account to log into?
It depends on whether you had another copy. A CSV export you kept restores the timeline, and so does a second phone that was already paired with the old one over local Wi-Fi. Optional Plus Family Data Sharing stores an encrypted copy that restores with your recovery key. What you cannot do is sign into an account and pull the data down, because there is no account.
