Baby growth chart
Add a birth date and the weight or length measurements you already have. This tool plots babies born at 37 weeks or later on World Health Organization growth curves.

Premature birth is outside this chart
WHO term curves are not a way to read growth for a baby born before 37 weeks. This page does not calculate corrected age, and it does not draw those measurements on the term curves.
Choose the birth date, the WHO reference, and birth at 37 weeks or later to draw the curves.

How age is calculated
The age in the table counts calendar days from the birth date to the measurement date, including a leap day when there is one. The chart places that day count by dividing it by 30.4375, which is the month length WHO uses to draw these curves. The table and the chart are two readings of the same dates. Each curve uses WHO's published value for every day from 0 through 730, not a line smoothed from the monthly examples.
What this chart does not do
- It is for babies born at 37 weeks or later, from the birth date until the day before the second birthday.
- It does not adjust age for prematurity, and it will not place a premature baby's measurements on term curves.
- Length means recumbent length, measured lying down. WHO switches from length to standing height at 731 days, and the published curve steps down there. This chart stops at day 730 and does not extend into standing height.
- It does not calculate an exact percentile, a healthy or unhealthy label, a feeding target, or an adult-height prediction.
- A point on a curve is not a diagnosis. Questions about a baby's growth belong with a clinician who can see the baby.
- The curves are the WHO Child Growth Standards. Using them here is not a WHO endorsement of Vaava.
- This page does not claim that the Vaava app, or a national child-health clinic chart, uses this same table.
